Big News: Flodesk’s Unlimited Plan Is Going Away
If you’re a florist who’s been thinking about email marketing, this is one update you won’t want to miss.
Flodesk - our favourite email platform for florists - has announced a big change to their pricing model. After 28 November 2025, new members will no longer be able to sign up for their Unlimited plan.
Why the change?
Martha and Rebecca, Flodesk’s founders, told us they’re 100% behind small businesses. Their view is that it isn’t fair for a florist with 200 subscribers to pay the same as a much bigger retailer with say 200,000 subscribers.
So from November 28th, new members will move to a tiered pricing model — where what you pay depends on the size of your list.
This helps keep things fair for smaller florists, but it also means the days of unlimited subscribers and unlimited emails at one flat price are coming to an end.
What this means for you
Current Flodesk Members: If you’re already signed up on Flodesk’s paid plan, whether you pay monthly or annually (and/or completed our Seed to Send course), you’re safe. You’re on the Unlimited plan and you’re locked in for life — unlimited emails and unlimited subscribers, forever, as long as you keep your plan. You don’t need to do a thing.
New Members: If you sign up before 28 November 2025, you’ll also lock in the Unlimited plan for life. After that date, unlimited is gone forever. This is not a drill!
What we don’t know yet
The exact pricing tiers haven’t been announced. But as Flodesk Partners, we will be the first to know. Our hope is that the first tier will be generous enough that most florists with smaller lists won’t feel the pinch straight away.
Flodesk have reassured us that as you near the next tier, they will give you a heads-up so you can clean your list, keep only active subscribers and avoid moving up before you need to.
Their values of fairness and transparency remain.

We’ll be straight with you - when we joined the Flodesk Partner call, we didn’t see this coming, nobody did! Flodesk’s Unlimited plan has always been one of its standout features, and a key reason many florists switched.
