The Sting - Terms & Conditions
By booking a Sting one to one session, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
What your booking includes
A booking for The Sting entitles the named purchaser to:
one 30minute scoping call;
one focused 1:1 working session with Queen Bee, normally delivered via Zoom over 2-2.5 hours;
a written summary of the session, including agreed actions sent via email; and
where relevant, recommended resources, tools and links for further reading.
The Sting is a done-with-you marketing support service. Queen Bee will provide marketing guidance, ideas, frameworks, feedback and recommendations, but implementation remains the responsibility of the purchaser.
If an in-person session is agreed, reasonable travel and any associated expenses will be charged separately and confirmed in advance.
Payment
The full session fee is payable in advance.
Where a deposit is accepted to secure a future date, that deposit is non-refundable if the purchaser subsequently cancels or decides not to proceed.
Any outstanding balance must be paid by the date specified on the invoice and before the main 1:1 session takes place.
Cancellation by the purchaser
Where applicable, consumers purchasing The Sting online or at a distance may have a statutory 14-day right to cancel.
If you ask Queen Bee to begin work within that 14-day cancellation period - for example by holding the scoping call, reviewing information supplied by you or beginning preparation for your session - you expressly request that the service begins immediately. If you subsequently cancel within the statutory cancellation period, Queen Bee may deduct a reasonable amount for the work already completed. Once the service has been fully performed, your statutory right to cancel ends.
Outside any statutory cancellation rights:
deposits are non-refundable;
once the 1:1 working session has taken place, no refund will be available.
Rescheduling and no-shows
We understand that plans can change. Sessions may be rescheduled once, provided at least 5 working days’ notice is given.
Requests to reschedule with less than 5 working days’ notice will be considered at Queen Bee’s discretion and may be treated as a cancellation.
If you fail to attend a booked session without notice, the session will be treated as used and no refund or alternative date will be offered.
Cancellation or postponement by Queen Bee
In the unlikely event that Queen Bee needs to cancel or postpone a session, the purchaser will be offered either:
an alternative date; or
a refund of any amount paid for the part of the service that cannot be delivered.
Queen Bee will not be liable for any additional costs, losses or expenses incurred as a result of cancellation or postponement.
Recording and AI transcription
The scoping call and/or 1:1 session may be recorded and transcribed using an AI-enabled meeting or transcription tool.
Recordings and transcripts are used to support the delivery of the service, including preparing session summaries, agreed actions and recommendations.
Unless there is a specific reason to retain them for longer, recordings and AI-generated transcripts will be deleted within 12 months of the final 1:1 session.
By participating in the session, you acknowledge that recording and AI transcription may be used for these purposes.
Confidentiality and permitted use
Advice, recommendations and materials provided through The Sting are for the named purchaser and their own business only.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared externally, taught, resold or otherwise commercially exploited without Queen Bee’s prior written permission.
Materials may be shared internally with members of the purchaser’s own team where reasonably required to implement the advice within that business.
Intellectual property
Any templates, frameworks, worksheets, guides, resources or other materials supplied by Queen Bee remain the intellectual property of Queen Bee unless expressly stated otherwise.
They are provided for use within the purchaser’s own business and must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared or sold without written permission.
Professional conduct
We aim to create a supportive, professional and welcoming environment.
Queen Bee reserves the right to end a session or remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, offensive, abusive or otherwise inappropriate. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
Disclaimer
The Sting is designed to provide marketing education, guidance, ideas, feedback and strategic support.
While every effort is made to provide accurate, relevant and useful recommendations, Queen Bee cannot guarantee any specific business, marketing, sales or financial outcome as a result of the service.
Recommendations will be based on the information available to Queen Bee at the time. Decisions about implementation remain the responsibility of the purchaser, and outcomes will vary between businesses.
Data processing
When you purchase The Sting, we will use your personal information to:
process and administer your booking;
arrange and deliver your scoping and 1:1 sessions;
provide session communications, resources, summaries and agreed follow-up information; and
manage payment and customer-service requirements relating to your purchase.
We may use third-party service providers, including payment processors, email and automation platforms, video-conferencing services, project-management tools and AI transcription services, to help administer and deliver The Sting.
Essential communications relating to a service you have purchased are separate from Queen Bee’s general marketing communications.
We may send you marketing communications about Queen Bee’s workshops, courses, resources and services where you have consented to receive them or where we are otherwise permitted to do so by law. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
